The MNC Hub Cybersecurity Resource Center provides trusted cybersecurity education, practical resources, and community outreach for individuals, families, nonprofits, and small businesses.
Through supervised resource sessions led by MNC-CTC Cybersecurity Residents, the Center helps community members build safer digital habits while creating meaningful applied learning opportunities for developing cybersecurity professionals.

Cybersecurity affects every part of daily life—from personal accounts and family devices to nonprofit services and small-business operations.
Yet many people and community organizations do not have easy access to trusted, understandable cybersecurity guidance.
The Cybersecurity Resource Center helps close that gap through practical education, community resource sessions, and trusted information designed for nontechnical audiences.
The Center is the community impact component of the MNC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub, demonstrating how cybersecurity workforce development can strengthen regional cyber resilience.

The Center provides cybersecurity education and resource guidance. It does not provide legal advice, incident-response services, forensic investigations, technical remediation, or individualized cybersecurity consulting.
Community Service That Builds Workforce Readiness
Resource Center sessions are supported by Cybersecurity Residents – Cybersecurity Resource Center participating in the MNC-CTC Cybersecurity Residency Program.
Under appropriate supervision, residents help deliver cybersecurity education, communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences, and connect community members with trusted resources.
Through this experience, residents strengthen employer-valued capabilities including:
- Technical communication
- Leadership
- Public speaking
- Customer and stakeholder engagement
- Risk communication
- Professional judgment
- Community outreach
The result is a model that strengthens both workforce readiness and community cyber resilience.
Part of a Coordinated Workforce Ecosystem
The Cybersecurity Resource Center is not a separate organization. It is the community impact component of the MNC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub.
The Hub supports a coordinated cybersecurity career lifecycle:

Through the Resource Center, developing and established cybersecurity professionals help return knowledge, preparedness, and support to the communities the workforce ecosystem is designed to serve.

Important Clarifier
The MNC Hub Cybersecurity Resource Center is the community impact component of the MNC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub. It provides cybersecurity education, awareness, outreach, and trusted resource guidance for individuals and community organizations.
Resource Center activities may be supported by supervised participants in the MNC-CTC Cybersecurity Residency Program. MNC-CTC is independently responsible for the education, supervision, academic requirements, and student records associated with its residents.
Resource Center sessions are educational in nature and do not constitute legal advice, professional cybersecurity consulting, incident-response services, forensic analysis, technical remediation, or a guarantee of cybersecurity protection.
Participation in a Resource Center session does not constitute enrollment in MNC-CTC, membership in Minorities in Cybersecurity, or participation in a MiC Talent Solutions Registered Apprenticeship.
