MNC-CTC Cybersecurity Workforce Hub
Connecting Global Community to Cyber Workforce Pathways
What Is the Cybersecurity Workforce Hub?
The Cybersecurity Workforce Hub is a workforce ecosystem and infrastructure layer that connects leadership development, education, and apprenticeship pathways into employer-aligned cybersecurity talent pipelines.
For MiC, the Hub serves as the bridge between a global cybersecurity community and real workforce pathways—ensuring that leadership development, peer connection, and professional identity are directly connected to education and career progression.
The Role of MiC in the Workforce Hub
MiC serves as the leadership development and global community anchor of the Cybersecurity Workforce Ecosystem. Through leadership development programming, mentorship, coaching, and connection to a worldwide network of cybersecurity professionals, MiC supports professional growth, leadership capability, and peer engagement for students, residents, and practitioners.
MiC’s leadership development offerings are non-credit, non-instructional professional development and do not provide technical cybersecurity training or occupational credentials. MiC does not deliver workforce instruction or employment services, but prepares individuals to engage effectively with education, apprenticeship, and workforce pathways coordinated through the Cybersecurity Workforce Hub.
How the Ecosystem Comes Together
The Cybersecurity Workforce Hub integrates three complementary components:
- MiC — Leadership development and a global cybersecurity community that builds professional identity, connection, and leadership capacity
- MNC-CTC — Structured, NICE Framework–aligned cybersecurity education delivered through a Texas Workforce Commission–approved Cybersecurity Residency Program
- MiC Talent Solutions — Apprenticeship, contract-to-hire, and career pathways aligned to employer needs
The Hub sits at the intersection of these components, providing the infrastructure that aligns community, education, and workforce pathways.
Why This Matters
Cybersecurity workforce efforts are often fragmented—separating community, education, and employment into disconnected initiatives. The Cybersecurity Workforce Hub addresses this challenge by creating a unified ecosystem where leadership development and community engagement are directly connected to workforce readiness and career pathways.
Through MiC’s global community, participants gain the leadership skills, professional networks, and support needed to navigate and succeed in the cybersecurity workforce.
Designed for Community and Partnership
The Cybersecurity Workforce Hub is built to collaborate with:
Each partner engages at the level that aligns with their mission and role, while the Hub maintains clear boundaries across community, education, and employment functions.
